Kyle Woolf

CEO

Kyle’s background in accounting and financial management, combined with his deep understanding of how technology shapes businesses, has played an integral role in growing our offering. Responsible for ensuring the financial and commercial stability of the organisation, Kyle also handles key client and supplier relationships.

 

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Wits University. After completing his articles at Investec where he qualified as a CA (SA), he began providing debt and equity solutions to corporates nationally.

Greg de Chasteauneuf

CTO

A serial innovator, Greg helped pioneer and create one of the country’s largest ISP’s and its first next-generation network (MPLS/NGN). Applying this mindset to our technology strategy, Greg embraces disruptive technology as he successfully drives our product development in the network, security, and cloud-hosting space.

 

Greg holds a diploma in Computer Science from CTI and has completed a Dimension Data Management Development Programme (MDP) in General Business Administration and Management through the University of Manchester.

David Cooke

Sales Director

With more than 20 years’ experience across a range of industries, David is passionate about leadership and management. Under his strategic guidance and mentorship, he consistently develops high-performance business professionals, while cultivating an energetic, collaborative and results-driven culture.

 

As a self-motivated entrepreneur, David has developed and managed several successful businesses, and led numerous dynamic sales teams within high-impact environments. A true salesman at heart he has successfully executed high-level negotiations with top enterprise customers across South Africa and beyond.

Charl van Vollenhoven

Chief Infrastructure Officer

Charl is the Head of Infrastructure at Saicom, a position he has held since June 2017. In his role, Charl is responsible for maintaining and managing the routing, switching, voice and unified communications infrastructure that is core to Saicom’s ability to deliver a world-class network and voice services to its customers.

 

His role requires him to identify trends and research products that will continue to evolve the company’s routing and switching network, and associated voice products. Charl believes that what differentiates Saicom from its competitors, is its commitment to delivering best of breed solutions that are secure, can scale to meet changing business needs, and providing white glove customer service.

 

With more than 20 years experience in voice services, he is most excited to see how unified communications is evolving and believes that as service providers are given more access to UCaaS platforms, customers can expect more value and innovation in the voice services stack.

Paul Michel

Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Paul is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Saicom. With 18 years of experience in the ISP, Telecoms and Cloud Computing industry, Paul has a proven track record of driving growth, business development and profitability in technology companies.

 

Paul is responsible for managing operational aspects of the business, including customer service, assurance and fulfillment.
